Who We Are
CEX Advisor is an independent crypto exchange research platform. We compare trading fees, leverage options, security features, and user experience across centralized exchanges — so you can make informed decisions without the hype. We are not affiliated with any exchange. Our comparisons are based on publicly available data, verified through direct testing.
Our Methodology
Every exchange on our site is evaluated across 7 dimensions:
- Trading Fees — spot and futures maker/taker rates at base tier
- Leverage — maximum available leverage on major pairs (BTC, ETH)
- KYC Requirements — what level of verification is needed to trade and withdraw
- Security — proof of reserves, insurance funds, hack history
- Copy Trading — availability and depth of copy trading features
- Liquidity — trading volume and spread quality on major pairs
- User Experience — interface quality, mobile app, onboarding flow
We update our data monthly. Scores are calculated from these 7 dimensions with equal weighting. We disclose affiliate relationships transparently — see our footer for details.
Editorial Independence
We earn revenue through affiliate links. When you sign up for an exchange through our links, we may receive a commission at no cost to you. This never influences our rankings or ratings. Exchanges cannot pay for higher placement. Our scores are based solely on the methodology described above.
